FAQ
What styles are available?
Bold, Italic, Bold Italic, Script, Bold Script, Fraktur, Double-Struck (Outline), Monospace, Fullwidth, Circled, Squared, Small Caps, Superscript, Subscript, Strikethrough, and Underline.
Is Unicode text the same as a font?
No. The output uses real Unicode characters that look styled, not a font file or CSS formatting. That is why the text can be copied into bios, chat messages, plain-text fields, and apps that do not support HTML styling.
Why does the converted text look different in some apps?
The converted characters are actual Unicode code points from the Mathematical Alphanumeric Symbols block, not formatting. They render differently depending on the font and platform. Most modern apps and social networks display them.
Do non-Latin characters get converted?
The Unicode math blocks only cover Basic Latin (A–Z, a–z, 0–9). Non-Latin characters (Chinese, Arabic, etc.) are passed through unchanged since no equivalent decorated codepoints exist.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. All conversion happens in your browser. Nothing leaves your machine.
